Jacob is a social change strategist, author and executive. From 2012 to 2021, he served as President & CEO of GuideStar and co-founder of Candid, the “definitive nonprofit transparency organization.” The NonProfit Times named Harold to its Power and Influence Top 50 list seven years in a row. Harold studied ethics at Duke and earned an MBA at Stanford.
He is the author of The Toolbox: Strategies for Crafting Social Impact—an incisive strategic guide that will prove to be indispensable for everyone who seeks to collaboratively build something better.
