UCLA ONE, University of California, Los Angeles’ professional online networking platform, is where Bruins can meet, guide, support, and leverage the collective power of a vast alumni network. Users offer and receive the assistance of other Bruins, and the platform has become a powerful tool for UCLA Alumni Association’s engagement strategy. In this presentation, UCLA’s Alumni Career Engagement team will speak about the most important lessons learned in scaling mentorship, community, and campus engagement by leveraging tactics like a strong mentor program, social media campaigns, career development needs, and user engagement. The presentation will explore milestones, lessons learned, and pitfalls to avoid as you launch or maintain your platform.
